I was bushed and dropped myself to a wooden bench in one of not-so- busiest mall. Then I suddenly felt the presence of another beings sitting on the adjoining bench behind me. I turned my head to see a woman and a young kid of roughly 4 years of age. Eavesdropping is certainly not my hobby, but this conversation of mom and son was really cute and I couldn't stop myself for tuning my ears.Kid was asking all sort of the questions to his mom ,while his mom was whispering the answers to him . I took out my mobile and pretending to read and reply text messages.

Kid: "So the baby really wants to come out......"

Mom: "hmmm......"

Kid: "That's why your stomach is getting big."

Mom: "Yes."

Kid: " So the baby will break your stomach and come out."

Mom: "yes."

Kid: "because baby wants to play with me.That's why baby will break your stomach."

Mom: "yes."

Kid: "Mommy,first you promise me that you will not give baby my toys."

Mom : "baby will have different toys."

Kid: "Different toys?mommy I can have different toys and you can give baby my old toys.OK?"

Mom: "but you said baby would not have your toys."

Kid: "No mommy.Old toys are nice.baby can have old toys and I will have different toys."

mom: "ok"

This went on for quite some time. Apparently the woman was preparing for her another motherhood. I can't recall further conversation of mom and son but it was really filled with innocence. There were only wishes of the kid which were manifested in words and sentences. There was no pretense or prejudice in kid's conversation.

How everything at its nascent stage is so pure and innocent !!
